4: Roadrunner 1 on 1


Practice quick feet pivots while facing up ice and attacking 1 on 1.


X1 begins by skating around circle and pivoting facing up ice. X2 makes pass to X1 and skates into circle and pivots defending against X1 1 on 1.

Both ends go at same time on whistle.

Key Teaching Points

Keep feet moving.

Concentrate on good balance and pivots.

Tight gap on 1 on 1.
